When I was a police officer in the early 80 's, I once pulled over a man who worked for the local electric company.  He was in the electric company vehicle speeding in a residential area.  I walked up to the truck and the guy would not open the door or window.  I tried to open the door, but it was locked.  I repeated louder and louder to "open up or I 'll pull you out. "  I smashed the window with my asp, grabbed him by the hair with one hand, and his arm with my other hand and pulled him through the window and arrested him.  He was very vocal at this point and kept swearing at me.
